Artem Dovbyk's arrival at Roma is closer than ever. However, the Italian club wants to continue to strengthen the team, especially in attack.
That is why, on Tuesday, the ‘Giallorossi’ announced the signing of Matias Soule. The promising striker, just 21 years old, signs until 2029, i.e. for 5 seasons.
Roma snatches from Juventus one of their promises. But not at any price, as the deal has been closed at 26 million euros fixed, plus 4 million euros in variables. In addition, the ‘Vecchia Signora’ reserves 10% of a future sale.
Soule already played a leading role last season in Serie A. He was on loan at Frosinone, where he played 39 games and scored 11 goals. Good figures that make him ready to be the No 9 for the Roman team, especially after the end of Lukaku's loan spell.
He is Roma's fifth signing after Enzo Le Fee, Angelino, Samuel Dahl and Mathew Ryan. The Argentinian also has a good relationship with Dybala, one of the stars of the team, so he hopes to bring his vision, dribbling and great finishing from the first minute in what will be a challenge for him.
