Robert Sanchez has swapped Brighton & Hove Albion for Chelsea. The Spain international goalkeeper will move from the Amex Stadium to Stamford Bridge.
The Blues have reached an agreement with the Seagulls for which they have had to pay £25m plus add-ons for the Spanish goalkeeper. In this way, the goalkeeper puts an end to a seven-season spell with De Zerbi's team and will look for a new challenge in Mauricio Pochettino's new project.
The Spain international, who lost his place to Jason Steele during the second half of last season, will offer competition for Kepa Arrizabalaga following the departure of Edouard Mendy to Saudi Arabian club Al-Ahli.
The Stamford Bridge club announced their new signing by tweeting a photo of the goalkeeper in his kit for the 2023/2024 season, which read: "Robert Sanchez, Chelsea!"
