OFFICIAL: Chelsea sign Enzo Fernandez for 121 million as spending spree continues

Chelsea continue to impress everyone with their incredible spending this season. Todd Boehly has felt his club needed strengthening and has broken the bank for it. Following weeks of mad talks and negotiations, the English club have managed to secure the signing of the best young player of the Qatar 2022 World Cup, Enzo Fernandez from Benfica.

Enzo Fernandez joins his fourth club in his career after playing for River Plate, Defensa y Justicia and Benfica. The Argentine has played 149 official games in his career, scoring 20 goals and providing 18 assists. The youngster's palmares may not be extensive yet, but considering that he is 22 years old and has already won a World Cup title and played a key role for his national team, the Argentinian has great potential for the future.
