Real Madrid monitoring Malaga gem Antonio Cordero
Antonio Cordero is on Real Madrid's agenda. According to ‘Marca’, Real Madrid are interested in signing the young Malaga winger, who has a contract expiring on 30th June 2025 and is still without a contract renewal. Barcelona already tried to sign the scorer of the promotion-winning goal in Tarragona last summer.

Malaga are in the Spanish second tier this season for many reasons, but the definitive blow came from Antonio Cordero. His goal in extra time against Nàstic not only brought the club back to professional football, but also meant a leap in his career that the winger has intensified with the good start of the season and his performances in the Under 19s.
So much so that Real Madrid are interested in the 18-year-old from Jerez, according to ‘Marca’. The club are keeping an eye on the situation of a player who finishes his contract in June 2025 and who could sign for any club from 1st January for next season.
Málaga, according to the aforementioned source, could even get rid of him in the winter transfer window if he continues with his refusal to renew. It is the last chance that the Andalusian side would have to get some financial return for a player who has recently changed agent to join the payroll of Pini Zahavi.
Madrid are not the only big club to have knocked on the striker's door. In fact, last summer, the La Rosaleda club received proposals that, according to Loren Juarros, they didn't even hear from Barcelona. The ‘Azulgranas’ plan, as well as that of the ‘Merengues’, would be to bring Cordero into their reserve teams, although the player's entourage would even see it as better to go to a club where he could play, from the start, in the first team.
