Chelsea's spending spree shows no signs of slowing down. Having already signed keeper Robert Sanchez from Brighton, the Blues have now announced the arrival of Serbian goalie Djordje Petrovic.
The 23-year-old has been signed from MLS team New England Revolution, where he has made 44 appearances following his move in April 2022.
His contract at Stamford Bridge is seven years, with the club having the option to add another. 'Sky Sports' report the deal to be worth £14 million and makes him the Blues' 11th signing of the summer.
In the club statement, Petrovic said: "I’m so happy to be at Chelsea and I’m really excited to get started at this club. It’s a big step for me and it’s always been a dream of mine to sign for one of the biggest clubs in the world. Today I have achieved that goal and I’m so happy".
"Playing in the Premier League is something I’m really looking forward to doing and I hope to learn many things here at Chelsea. I can’t wait to meet everyone and play at Stamford Bridge", he continued.
