OFFICIAL: Diego Rico moves from Real Sociedad to Getafe

Real Sociedad left-back Diego Rico is leaving on loan to Getafe C.F. After a year on loan at Getafe, Real Sociedad confirmed on Tuesday that the 31-year-old from Burgos is leaving the ‘Txuri-urdin’ club in the form of a sale.
Also on Monday, Alex Sola was transferred to Getafe, which means that two former Real Sociedad players will make up the future squad at the Coliseum.
Rico leaves Real Sociedad after playing 57 games (4,418 minutes) under Imanol Alguacil, in which he scored a goal in the Europa League against Sheriff of Moldova.
The Getafe player has not been able to succeed in the ‘Txuri-urdin’ team, who are looking for new reinforcements for a campaign in which they will play again in European competitions.
