OFFICIAL: Sabitzer swaps Bayern for Dortmund after Man Utd stint
Marcel Sabitzer, who spent last season on loan at Manchester United, has left Bayern Munich to join Borussia Dortmund, the German club announced on Monday.

Marcel Sabitzer will continue playing in the Bundesliga next season but at a new destination. The Austrian has swapped Bayern Munich for direct rivals Borussia Dortmund">Borussia Dortmund.
Edin Terzic's side announced on Monday that the midfielder will play in a yellow and black shirt from next campaign. He has signed a three-season contract for 19 million euros.
"The 29-year-old vice-captain of the Austrian national team completed his medical check in Dortmund today and subsequently signed a contract that is valid until 30 June 2027," they wrote on their website.
Sabitzer was signed on loan from Manchester United in the January transfer window but did not live up to the board's expectations to sign him permanently. As a result, his time in the Premier League is over for the time being.
"Marcel is an experienced player who has been playing at the top international level for years. He fits the profile that we were looking for exactly: a central midfielder who will strengthen us both defensively and offensively as a box-to-box player," BVB sporting director Sebastian Kehl claimed.
