The 12th Bundesliga matchday of the season kicks off this Friday with Werder Bremen facing Hertha at the Olympiastadion Berlin. Ole Werner, coach of the German team, appeared before the media in the press room.
Regarding the issue of the number of absentees, the coach replied: "Jean-Manuel Mbom and Nicolai Rapp are still out. Marco Friedl is unfortunately suspended and Salifou will play with the U23s.
"Hertha is a team that defends very well. We know what their strengths are. We are also aware of how much pace they have up front," he said of this weekend's opponents.
Finally, the Werder Bremen boss spoke about the Bundesliga standings: "I'm capable of not thinking about it and, I think, so is the team. The German league is very tight and it changes every matchday.
