Deportivo Alaves player Samu Omorodion said goodbye to Alaves on Monday, saying that the Babazorro side will ‘always’ be in his heart.
The striker returns to Atletico Madrid, who signed the striker at the start of the season from Granada and loaned him to Alaves.
He made his debut in the third matchday with the Vitoria-based side after scoring his first goal in the top flight with the Nazari side.
With the Basque side, he has played 33 games, 21 as a starter, and has scored a total of eight goals.
Samu Omorodion has been a regular in the call-ups for the Spanish U21 national team and has grown notably alongside experienced teammates such as Kike Garcia.
Alaves have already expressed their intention to continue with the player on loan for another season.
