Andre Onana has warned Manchester United fans to be 'ready' this season as the Red Devils goalkeeper intends to take more risks this season.

Andre Onana was one of Manchester United's big flops in the 2023-24 season. The goalkeeper arrived as one of the best goalkeepers in the world from Inter Milan and failed to live up to his reputation. He piled up glaring errors in the opposition's finishing and was very timid in build-up play, one of his theoretical strengths.
The Cameroonian warned that the 2024-25 season will not be the same as the previous one. Onana is willing to take more risks from the back, even if it will cost his team a few points: "This season I will take a lot of risks, I can say that in advance. Be ready because this is going to be my year, trust me. I will enjoy it even more when the official matches start."
"The best team in the world takes risks. Building from the back, recognise things, situations, when the opponent jumps one against one, or when they press with three or with four. I will take more responsibility with this and I think my back can take the weight. It's going to be a fun season," added the African in 'The Guardian' statements.
"It's not easy to settle in a new country, with a new league and a new culture, but my team-mates helped me a lot," concluded the Red Devil goalkeeper, confirming that his adaptation was not as quick as he had initially hoped: "It's not easy to settle in a new country, with a new league and a new culture, but my team-mates helped me a lot," concluded Onana.
