Kalvin Phillips, who was targeted by Barcelona in the January transfer window, has offered himself to the Catalan giants to be part of Hansi Flick's project, according to reports in Spain.
The Catalan side are in need of two midfielders to boost their squad for next campaign. However, financial problems continue to accompany them for another transfer window.
Real Betis midfielder Guido Rodriguez is set to become the latest addition to German coach Hansi Flick's squad although the board are still rumoured to be considering his possible arrival at Camp Nou.
Meanwhile, Phillips remains on their radar. The 28-year-old would love to join Barcelona, as he has hinted on several occasions. Manchester City are willing to sell him for 30 million euros but he is likely to play in Spain on loan, just as he has been doing until a few weeks ago at West Ham.
