Evan Ferguson has been one of Brighton & Hove Albion's surprise packages this season, after the 19-year-old striker has scored six goals in 13 starts for the Seagulls this campaign so far.
According to various sources, Chelsea are one of the clubs interested in landing the young striker due to the Blues' goal drought. Mauricio Pochettino's side have scored just 44 goals and are reportedly interested in strengthening their front line.
The Argentine manager was asked about his side's reported interest in signing the Brighton gem, although the former Spurs boss declined to comment on the matter and played down the issue.
"No, you know very well I'm not going to talk about rumours, I'm not going to talk about players that are in a different club, I am so respectful. We are not talking. We are assessing the squad and if something happens we will communicate, but we have not taken any decision," he said.
