The 'Oranje' return to official competition after their participation in the Qatar 2022 World Cup, where they were eliminated by Argentina in the quarter-finals, while the Croatians were one step away from the final after also losing to the 'Albiceleste'.
Ronald Koeman's team last faced the Netherlands in a friendly in 2008 in which the Dutch crushed the Croatians 3-0 with goals from Heitinga, Huntelaar and Hesselink.
On the other hand, the team led by Luka Modric will be looking to show why they finished third at the World Cup in Qatar and continue to prove why they are one of the golden eras of football in their country.
The match will be played at 20.45 CEST at Fejenoord Stadium. Istvan Kovacs will be in the middle while Bastian Dankert will be the VAR.
