On Thursday, PSG officially inaugurated its sports city, the Paris Saint-Germain Campus, located in Poissy, a town to the west of Paris, where it will concentrate all the activities of its professional and training teams.
The complex, located 25 minutes from the Parc des Princes, extends over 59 hectares of land and includes 150,000 square metres of outdoor space as well as enclosed facilities of all kinds.
The project has been designed to centralise the club's sporting activities and house both the training teams and the professional men's and women's squads.
"For the first time, all PSG teams will share a single space, which will strengthen cohesion and development within the club," the club said in a statement.
The facilities include three exclusive training pitches for the men's first team, one for the women's first team, six training pitches, a 500-seater stadium, therapeutic pools and a balneotherapy area.
The complex also has classrooms, an amphitheatre with 230 seats, a restaurant, study and leisure rooms, as well as 131 rooms for the young players in internal regime and 43 for the professional team.
"The economic impact of the new campus in the Paris region is estimated at 243 million euros for the 2023-2024 season," according to the Centre for Sports Law and Economics (CDES). The facility, whose investment is close to 300 million euros, has been financed by the club.
In addition, PSG has announced its commitment to generate a positive social impact through the ‘PSG For Communities’ programme, which aims to allocate funds and develop initiatives to support disadvantaged young people.
