Rashford gets his driving licence revoked for driving at 104mph

Winger Marcus Rashford is in the headlines in England and not just for sporting reasons. The Englishman was caught speeding at 104mph and his driving licence has been revoked.
The footballer had to make a statement at the police station and admitted that he was going too fast, but gave an explanation as he said he felt he was being chased by a white BMW. The Manchester United player did not know that the car was a camouflaged patrol car.
In addition to the fine of 1979 euros that he had to pay at the time, he will now have to spend half a year without driving and not only that, he will also have to attend a road awareness and re-education course.
This is not the first time Rashford has committed such an offence. In 2023, his car ended up crashing into a traffic island after a United game against Burnley.
