Raul Jimenez was the new player in the second week of training for Mexico in Girona. The Wolves striker is still a doubt for the World Cup.

The Mexican national began their second week of training at Girona's training complex and the inclusion of striker Raul Jimenez was the main news. He joined the camp to prepare for the 2022 World Cup in Qatar although he is still a doubt because of a groin injury.
The Wolves attacker will not take part in Wednesday's friendly against Iraq at Montilivi, the home of Girona.
Whether he travels to Qatar or not will be decided by 14th November at the latest. That is when countries have to reveal their 26 man squad by for the World Cup.
On 16th November, Tato Martino's men will take on Sweden, also at Montilivi and on the 17th, they will now go to Qatar to play in the group stages of the World Cup against Poland on 22nd November.
After Jimenez's arrival, 20 of the 31 footballers included in Martino's first squad list for the World Cup are now in Girona. The Mexican players from European clubs, like Hirving Lozano (Napoli) or Edson Alvarez (Ajax) will join the camp oncew they are finished with their clubs.
