Real Madrid president Florentino Perez travelled to Paris early on Tuesday morning to attend an event to mark the 120th anniversary of FIFA, as a representative of the organisation's founding club.
Accompanied by Emilio Butragueno, Real Madrid's director of institutional relations, Florentino Perez landed in Paris in the early hours of the morning and is due to return, sources at the club told 'EFE', in the early afternoon without meeting Kylian Mbappe.
Fayza Lamari, mother of the French striker who announced the end of his time at PSG, acknowledged at a farewell dinner on Monday night that everyone knows Mbappe's destination next season, linking her son to Real Madrid who have tried on several occasions to sign him.
Who Florentino Perez will coincide with at the event organised by FIFA is French president Emmanuel Macron. The leader has already expressed several times his desire for Mbappe to play in the Olympic Games after the European Championship this summer, a situation that Real Madrid do not want to happen with their players, who are asked to choose one of the two tournaments.
