Real Madrid are preparing for a defensive revamp this summer and the Spanish giants have compiled a list of three Premier League central defensive targets. Everton's Jarrad Branthwaite tops the list, followed by Liverpool's Ibrahima Konate and Bournemouth's Dean Huijsen.
With current key players Antonio Rudiger, David Alaba and Eder Militao showing signs of wear and tear, Real Madrid are looking to revamp their defence. Everton value Branthwaite at around £75m, and his strong performances this season have caught the eye of Madrid among other clubs.
Manchester United, Liverpool, Manchester City and Chelsea have also expressed an interest in the 22-year-old England Under-21 international, whose contract expires in 2027.
Given Liverpool's likely opposition to parting with the French defender, Real Madrid's pursuit of Konate may prove difficult. Huijsen, who has a £50million break clause at Bournemouth, may be a more affordable option for Los Blancos although they will have to fight with Manchester City and Newcastle who are pushing hard for the young defender.
