Real Madrid want to finalise Vinicius Junior's contract renewal as soon as possible. The Brazilian himself has confirmed that an agreement is close, despite having personally met with representatives from the Saudi league.

Vinicius has become a key talking point at Madrid as the club reopens negotiations over a new deal. His current contract runs until 2027, but he has started to attract interest from Saudi Arabia, with lucrative offers potentially on the horizon.
Los Blancos have already faced an initial stumbling block in talks. Vinicius is seeking to become the club's highest-paid player, as he currently earns €15 million per season plus bonuses, including a recent add-on for winning The Best award.
At the same time, Spanish outlet Marca reported that Vinicius had already met with members of the Saudi royal family. The Brazilian attended an initial meeting, described as a first contact aimed at persuading him to make the move in the summer, when a renewed push for his signature is expected. “We will sign Vinicius, no matter what,” a Saudi source told AS.
This meeting appears to have triggered fresh movement at Real Madrid. The club has reportedly contacted Vinicius directly to ask how much he wants to renew, and he has already provided an answer.
The player's own words after Madrid's victory over Manchester City also point towards progress in talks with the club. However, Saudi Arabia's influence—particularly on the financial front—remains significant.
While Marca claims that no financial terms were discussed in Vinicius' meeting with the Saudi Royal Family, AS reports that an offer worth €1 billion over five seasons is on the table. That would see the forward's salary soar from an average of €15 million per year to €200 million.
