'Le 10 Sport' journalist Alexis Bernard reported on Wednesday that Madrid have made William Saliba their top priority signing for the summer. The team lead by Carlo Ancelotti are reportedly ready to splash out 'whatever price' Arsenal should decide to demand for the defender.
After Kylian Mbappe's move this summer, Real Madrid want to bring in another Frenchman, this time in defence. According to the report the La Liga giants have already began making contacts with Saliba's entourage, as they are looking to seal the player from the get-go.
Real Madrid will have to provide a satisfying offer to convince the Gunners to let go of their defensive rock. The 23-year-old has impressed in recent season and currently has 92 appearances for the English club, after making 8 in the under-21 and under-23s sides for the Gunners.
