The 31-year-old goalkeeper expressed his desire to wear the Belgian shirt again, telling Koora Break with Rio Ferdinand: "I missed to play for Belgium... it's one year and half, now I am ready".
According to Mundo Deportivo, Courtois is expected to take part in Belgium's next match against Ukraine in Genk in March, which would be his first international appearance since June 2022.

"Thibaut and the federation are in talks. I think his return is imminent, perhaps against Ukraine," Thierry Courtois revealed.
