A few days ago, the 26 referees were announced by FIFA's Refereeing Commission for the Clup World Cup which will be in Morocco from the 1-11 February.
On Wednesday, a new feature for VAR was announced in the tournament. The IFAB, who make the rules for football, said that the referee will explain their VAR decisions on speakers in the stadiums, like the NFL.
What is more, the organisation added that the first test will be in the Club World Cup and it may even be brought in for the Women's World Cup in the summer.
The idea is for it to be trialled in the next year with the aim of bringing it in permanently. The first game which will have this feature will be Ahly-Auckland City on the 1st February.
