Arsenal's next two summer signings are on the horzion. After months of negotiation with West Ham for Declan Rice, and beating Man United and Liverpool for Ajax's Jurrien Timber, it looks like the Gunners are about to seal the deals.
According to 'Sky Sports', both players have had medicals scheduled, with Rice's already possibly completed over the weekend. The Dutchman's could follow soon after, meaning both players could be announced very soon.
West Ham's skipper is set to be Arsenal's record signing, after the London clubs settled on a fee of £105 million for the England international. He makes the move across London following his Europa League Conference triumph with the Hammers, ending their 43-year trophy drought.
The Ajax defender's fee pales in comparison, at a mere £38 million, according to the cited outlet, but in total that would bring Arsenal's summer spending over the £200 million mark, following their £65 million deal with Kai Havertz, who made the move from Chelsea.
Any further signings haven't been ruled out, but would reportedly hinge on sales made by the Premier League runners-up, who have so far only agreed the sale of Granit Xhaka for £21 million to Bayer Leverkusen, and Pablo Mari to Monza for around £6 million.
