Man City are fresh off the high of their treble win, after taking the Champions League title on Saturday. But it looks like the clouds may already be gathering on the horzion, as reports are coming of another Saudi offer that could be coming the club's way.
'Foot Mercato' reported that a delegation from Saudi club Al-Ahli have been in London to discuss the possibility of deals with various players. One of the players on their list is City winger, Riyad Mahrez.
The 32-year-old has two years left on his contract with Man City and made 48 appearances for the club this season. He was a substitute for City in the UCL final, but did not come on.
'Daily Mail' reports that Al-Ahli would offer Mahrez €50 million per season, with bonuses, on a two-year contract with the option for a third.
In his time at City, Mahrez has scored 78 goals and provided 59 assists. The French-born Algerian is the latest player to attract attention from Saudi Arabia, and joins the likes of Madrid's Toni Kroos, Barcelona's Robert Lewandowski and most famously, Inter Miami's Leo Messi in receiving an offer from the Middle East.
