It's no secret that Neymar isn't hugely popular with the PSG fans, after constant injuries and poor performances, but he didn't come cheap to the French giants. However, latest reports suggest he might be on his way out, following in the footsteps of former teammates Leo Messi and Sergio Ramos, who both announced their departures this summer.
The Brazilian is under contract with PSG until 2027, but he could leave the French captial this summer if an interesting offer was sent to the Parisian higher-ups. And it seems that could happen sooner than anticipated.
According to 'RMC Sport', Saudi emissaries have travelled to Paris to meet with Neymar's team and present him a contract deal.
The details of the offer have not yet been leaked, but it may well be as high as that offered to Karim Benzema or Cristiano Ronaldo to join the Gulf country, i.e. close to 100 million euros per season.
At PSG, the 30-year-old has the club's second-highest salary, behind Mbappe, with an estimated total cost of over 50 million euros a year. The French club would probably jump on a chance to save themselves the expense of his wage bill over the next few seasons.
