The scale of Saudi Arabia's chequebook continues to loom large over the Santiago Bernabeu, with Toni Kroos being the latest to be tempted by the Middle Eastern country. The German's agent, Volker Struth, revealed the offer on 'Phrasen Maher', a podcast by 'Bild'.

Saudi Arabia is determined to make their league one of the best in the world. This is why the country is willing to move Heaven and Earth to sign elite footballers like Karim Benzema and Cristiano Ronaldo, among others.
The French striker, who had planned to stay one more year at Madrid, decided to put an end to his career at the 'Casa Blanca' after 14 years. And he did so because of a huge offer from Al Ittihad, who offered him 200 million euros.
After securing the French international, Saudi Arabia have continued watching Madrid closely. Luka Modric, who was pegged as a surefire to stay, now appears to be taking another look at his future after Al Hilal raised their offer.
And he's not the only one - it appears the attention has turned to his fellow midfielder Toni Kroos. Volker Struth, the German's agent spoke on 'Phrasen Maher', a podcast by sports magazine 'Bild' and revealed that the country had approached Kroos, as well as Mario Gotze, another player he represents.
Despite the temptation to earn a lot of money in Saudi Arabia, the future of the German is more than clear: he renewed for one more season earlier this year and never hid his plans to retire in white.
