Sevilla defender Sergio Ramos spoke in the mixed zone after the 1-2 defeat to Arsenal, which left his side third in Champions League Group B with two points compared to six for the English side and five for Lens.
"After the first half, we were a bit sluggish and they took advantage of that. Then we reacted and it's a shame we lost 1-2. It was three important points, but the competition is decided by small details," admitted Sergio Ramos, analysing the match.
"We have to continue to improve and develop this new style of play," said the Spanish international, referring to the arrival of Uruguayan Diego Alonso on the Sevilla bench.
Speaking to other media, the most capped player in La Roja's history also admitted that he was "under the illusion" of returning to the Spanish national team: "It's true that everyone knows how happy I'd be to return to the national team. I still have that hope of coming back.
