Thiago Silva's days at Chelsea could be numbered. The Brazilian defender joined the Blues for the 2020/21 season from Paris Saint-Germain but could bid farewell to Stamford Bridge at the end of the season.
The 39-year-old renewed his deal with the Premier League side last season and his current deal expires at the end of this campaign. Silva was asked by reporters what his future at Chelsea would be in the summer and whether he would be looking for a new destination in the next transfer window.
"This relationship has been going on for a long time. But I prefer to remain silent at this moment, as there has already been some controversy in the recent past," he told 'Globo Esporte'.
"I now have a family, I have children. So we have to think about this aspect too. It’s about seeing where things can bring us happiness, to finish this beautiful and successful career that I believe I have achieved," he added.
The midfielder is rumoured to want to finish his career at Fluminense, where he started as a professional footballer.
