Barcelona returned to training on Friday to prepare for their upcoming La Liga meeting with Alaves, with the new addition of Polish goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny, who trained alongside his new teammates.
Szczesny has signed for one season with the Catalan side to replace German goalkeeper Marc-Andre ter Stegen, who recently underwent surgery on a ruptured patellar tendon in his right knee.
The new goalkeeper is now a member of the squad and on Friday he trained with the rest of the squad at the Joan Gamper training complex.
On Saturday, the squad will return to work from 16:00 CET at the Sant Joan Despi facilities. After the session, Hansi Flick will hold a press conference ahead of the game against Alaves, the last before another break due to national team commitments.
