Goalkeeper Marc-Andre ter Stegen, who reached 400 appearances for Barcelona in the last LaLiga EA Sports match against Mallorca, said he was "proud to wear this shirt for so long" and believes it is "very nice" to have reached this milestone.
The Monchengladbach-born player, speaking to the Catalan club's media, stressed his commitment to the club: "I always try to do my best for this crest and enjoy being on the pitch.
Those 400 appearances make Ter Stegen the third most-capped foreign player in the history of the club, behind only Leo Messi (758) and Dani Alves (408).
The German goalkeeper is also the player in the current squad who has played the most games for Barca, and that's why he wants to pass on this experience to his teammates.
"I try to take advantage of the experience of previous situations, and obviously pass it on to those who have just arrived or have played fewer games. I try to give my version, my experience," he summarised.
