FC Barcelona vs Atletico Madrid
41 titles at stake in the first of the Copa del Rey semi-finals. Atletico will go to the assault of a FC Barcelona that will first play at Montjuïc and then will have to visit the Riyadh Air Metropolitano.
We will see if the ‘Colchoneros’ are able to break the streak: the last time they won a Copa del Rey tie against the Catalan team was in the 2000 semi-final; since then, three meetings in 2009 (round of 16), 2015 (quarter-finals) and 2017 (semi-final) and three victories for the ‘Cules’.

Imanol Alguacil's side know what it's like to eliminate Real Madrid in the Copa del Rey, having already done so in the 2020 quarter-finals at the Santiago Bernabeu with that 3-4 win in which Martin Odegaard and Alexander Isak stole the show.
Five years later, the two sides will meet again in a clash that will be held first at the Reale Arena and will conclude at the Santiago Bernabeu. In the history of the Copa del Rey, there are six previous qualification results for the 'Merengues' and four for the ‘Txuri-urdin’.
