Phil Foden was Manchester City's hero in the Sky Blues' 4-1 win over Aston Villa after his hat trick kept the Sky Blues firmly in contention for the Premier League title.
The Cityzens youth product, who equalled legends such as Ronaldo, Drogba and Lampard by notching his third hat trick in English domestic competition, has performed impressively this season so far, setting him on his best goalscoring campaign of his career.
Indeed, the Three Lions international's match-winning ability is something Pep Guardiola has praised before and the Spanish coach has done so again after the win over the Villans, claiming that "he has goals in his veins".
"He has goals in his veins and he has to use this. What can I say when he scores three goals? He didn’t start well but he improved. Phil when he plays in central positions has a feel of goal," he said.
"He can do whatever he wants. He’s a really top‑class player, we know it but still is open minded [so] has to understand the game [more]," concluded the former Barca coach.
