Spurs will be back to Premier League action at the weekend as they face a crucial clash against Manchester City at the Etihad. However, Postecoglou will have to prepare the showdown without Wilson Odobert who faces another lengthy spell on the sidelines.
Tottenham signed Odobert from Burnley for a £25million in the summer, but the Englishman has failed to impress so far. His time at North London has been hampered by injuries, as he as only been able to play in five occasions for Tottenham.
His latest injury blow was confirmed by the club itself on Sunday morning. "We can confirm that Wilson Odobert underwent surgery to his right hamstring yesterday (Saturday 16th November)," read the club's post on X. "The 19-year-old will continue to be closely monitored by our medical team to determine when he can return to training"
Shortly after completing his surgery, Odobert posted a picture of himself in a hospital bed at the Princess Grace Hospital in Marylebone, with the caption: "thanks God." The player will now begin his rehabilitation process, as recovery timings will be revealed by Spurs going forward.
