Union qualifies for Champions League for the first time in their history

Football leaves beautiful stories and on Saturday one of them took place in Berlin. Union beat Weder Bremen by the narrowest of margins to mathematically certify their presence in the next edition of the Champions League.
It will be the first time in their history that they have taken part in the top continental competition at club level. Undoubtedly, a dream for a humble team, but one that has been building their history step by step.
The most precious asset of the team led by Urs Fischer is their own fans. A family that has never abandoned its team and that even went so far as to work to renovate the stadium, as the club was going through a tough time and did not have sufficient funds. They also rescued the club in 2004, when it was on the verge of bankruptcy.
Union Berlin is an example of identity, work and effort to be able to rub shoulders with the biggest teams in the Bundesliga. A work that has paid off on Saturday, putting the icing on the cake of a dream.
