Uruguayan Fabricio Diaz on Barcelona's radar

According to Gerard Romero, Liverpool Montevideo midfielder Fabricio Diaz, leader of the Uruguayan Apertura, could reinforce the Catalan side. The 'Cules' would put five million euros on the table to land him.
The main problem Barca will have when it comes to strengthening the squad is the lack of income they have stopped generating after being eliminated early from European competitions. Diaz, who has performed well in the top flight, could be a good option given his low cost.
The player has a contract until 2026 with Liverpool and that could stall negotiations, but the Catalan club will try to convince the midfielder that his future should be at the Catalan giants.
