Manchester United are ready to travel. The Red Devils will face Arsenal and Liverpool, among other clubs, in preparation for the 2024/25 campaign. They will travel to the United States to play these matches, which are scheduled to start on 28 July and finish on 4 August.
However, those are not the most important pre-season games for United. They face Manchester City in the Community Shield on 10 August to fight for another title.
"Betis is a very impressive opponent. They will always play in a high level, in La Liga. We have to get that mentality in because at that point we don't have so much time to go into a final - we have to prepare ourselves for the Community Shield," Ten Hag said.
"So we have to be more competitive at that stage. That's what we can expect from every individual player, but also as a team, and we have to make progress by that time," the Dutch coach concluded.
