The Vinicius incident at Mestalla continues to make headlines. The Brazilian is receiving a great deal of support after episode of racism against him, something that has been happening throughout the season.
The striker had his ups and downs with a fan who allegedly hurled these insults at him. The player asked La Liga to take action and had a confrontation with Javier Tebas, the organisation's president, in relation to this matter.
Valencia condemned the events on Monday and assured that they had already located the two people responsible for the chants. As if that were not enough, the 'Che' institution later issued another statement to announce that they will suspend for life those involved.
"Valencia CF will ban for life the fans who racially abused Vinicius Jr. The Club strongly condemn this behaviour, which has no place in football and does not correspond to the values of Valencia CF and our fanbase," reads part of the letter.
More news on the case is expected to be announced in the coming hours. In the meantime, Madrid have reported the racist insults against Vinicius to the Public Prosecutor's Office.
