"Vazquez gives us a lot of confidence" - Ancelotti on signing Carvajal replacement

Real Madrid face a major injury blow, as Dani Carvajal is set to be for the rest of the season after tearing is ACL, as well as ruptuting two other ligaments in his right leg, in Saturday's 2-0 win over Villareal at the Bernabeu.
The club confirmed the disagnosis on Sunday after the veteran defender underwent examinations by the medical staff. It could, therefore, be trouble for 'Los Blancos', who will need to throw themselves at the market to look for a replacement. Or so, that is what many think.
Carlo Ancelotti does not seem too fond on the idea as he insisited the man to fill in for the injured Spaniard is already in the squad. “Signing a right-back if Carvajal’s injury is serious? Vazquez gives us a lot of confidence," responded the Italian boss "During this international break we have time to talk about this, taking into account that the market is closed and there are not many options."
Lucas Vazquez has mostly featured from the bench this season for Real Madrid, however, with Carvajal's injury he will be called upon to take over the right flank for Ancelotti. He last started in the home fixture against Deportivo Alaves in matchday 7 of La Liga, bagging in 90 minutes of play.
