Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag spoke in a press conference and affirmed the pressure on the club to win, yet the Dutchman is optimistic about the team."I have been in football long enough to know, and what some of you should also understand, is that such things happen. Sometimes, you are not playing good but we are Man United and you still have to win."
"When you are winning, you can't give it away in the way we did, that is the biggest disappointment for me. We also have to see the trends line over a long period and I would say, from Christmas, on it has been positive. We keep going," added the Man Utd coach.
The Red Devils are running out of options to claim a top-four place in the Premier League to play in European competition next year, yet they want to continue their trend and use up all their chances, but to do so they have to step up and win important games like the one they face on Thursday against Chelsea.
