Vinicius to be 'worthy' Ballon d'or winner, says Liverpool's Alisson
Brazil goalkeeper Alisson Becker is hopeful that 'Selecao' star Vinicius can reach the level he showed for Real Madrid last season at this Copa America. The Reds goalkeeper also claimed that the 'Merengues' star will be a worthy Ballon d'Or winner

Brazil goalkeeper Alisson Becker believes Vinicius will reach the same level of excellence in the 'Selecao' as he has shown at Real Madrid, and referred to him as a "worthy" Ballon d'Or winner.
"The last game (against Paraguay) was a display of what he can do. We know the ability he has, what he has done this season. He is worthy of being awarded as the best in the world," the Liverpool goalkeeper said on Monday at the pre-match press conference ahead of the Colombia game in Santa Clara.
Vinicius is the leader of Brazil's squad for the Copa America in the United States, with Neymar missing out after failing to recover in time from a torn cruciate ligament and meniscus in his left knee.
The Madrid winger was the star of the victory over Paraguay (1-4). The No 7 had scored 3 goals in 31 games until that match and last Friday he scored a brace in 15 minutes.
Alisson said that Vinicius will reach the same level as he did at Real Madrid "naturally" and, in this sense, he hopes that the Brazilian national team can help him to be chosen as the best in the world.
"All of us here are required to perform as well as we do at our clubs. It's a demand not only externally, but also internally, from our coach, who wants us to perform at our best", he underlined.
