"We are trying to find our best version" - Ancelotti on Suttgart win
Although Real Madrid made their Champions League debut with a win, Carlo Ancelotti was not entirely happy with the team's play. The Italian, who discussed how difficult it is to win in Europe, hopes to get a better level from his players in the coming games.

Real Madrid's Italian coach Carlo Ancelotti said on Tuesday that the important thing for the European opener was to win against Stuttgart, acknowledging that they are trying to "look for their best version".
Real Madrid, with goals from France's Kylian Mbappe, Germany's Antonio Rudiger and Brazil's Endrick Moreira, all three in the second half, beat Stuttgart on the opening day of the Champions League group stage.
"The headline could be ‘Real Madrid win the first game of this new Champions League format’," Ancelotti said bluntly at a news conference when asked for a headline of the match.
"We are trying to find our best version. We didn't start well, we tried to press high, we won the duels and after 20 minutes we took control and managed to score. After the equaliser we had the strength to dig deep and win a very important game," he confessed.
"If anyone thinks that winning matches is easy, they are wrong. I can't remember any Champions League game, and I've been here for 200-odd, without suffering. Here you have to suffer. Real Madrid know it better than anyone else in Europe," he said.
