Simone Inzaghi appeared before the press ahead of the second leg of the UCL semi-finals. Despite the advantage his team have after the first leg, the Inter coach only wants to hear one word: "concentration".
Here's what the Italian coach said to the press: "It's going to be an important night for sure. A historic match, one of the most important for Inter. I keep saying to myself, but I never tire of saying it: we have to come together and help each other from start to finish. The fans have been with us in good times and bad. We have to keep a cool head and burning desire".
Inzaghi recalled the importance of controlling emotions in this kind of game: "Do I think we are already in the final? Far from it. We are a serious, mature and respectful club. We haven't done anything yet. We mustn't speculate or get complacent or want to manage the 0-2 scoreline from the first leg. We are confident that we can repeat a good game to qualifyas we deserve".
The coach spoke about the rivalry with AC Milan: "We know our opponents perfectly well. We are ready, as we were against Benfica. We are just over 90 minutes away from achieving a dream together with all these wonderful lads. Thanks to them we also reached the final of the Coppa Italia".
He ended by praising Romelu Lukaku: "You already know him, you know what Romelu can give us. I brought him to Inter to see him play like he has in the last few games. It's the level he could have brought all season, but unfortunately, we lost him for 5 months, just like Brozovic".
