"We talk a lot about Bellingham, but Valverde is as good as him"

Madrid were impressive in a 5-1 win over Celtic. One of the goals was scored by Fede Valverde, who once again showed his great form.
Former Premiership player Joe Cole told 'BT Sport' how he saw the Uruguayan. "He's at the top of the young players alongside Jude Bellingham of Borussia Dortmund," he said.
What's more, Cole would not be surprised if Valverde overtook the German player. "He's on the verge of becoming the best. We talk a lot about Bellingham in England, but this kid is as good as him," he continued.
"Valverde scores goals, he has good technical skills.... He was the anonymous hero in the last Champions League final. He was outstanding against Liverpool, he's powerful.
And he believes we haven't seen anything yet. "He has made Madrid progress. His statistics are tremendous: his goals, his assists, his contribution to the team. He's an incredible player.
