New Barcelona coach Hansi Flick revealed that since he started coaching, he has always identified with Barca's style of football, especially that played by Johan Cruyff.
"My way of looking at football is similar to what Barca do, as that is also my goal since the first team I coached. I studied a lot about the Dutch football school and also about Johan Cruyff," he told Barcelona channels, an interview that will be broadcast in full on Monday.
Flick, in his second week in charge of Barcelona, argued that he has felt "from day one" the passion with which people live Barcelona, from the fans to the president.
"Everyone here who works for Barcelona has this passion, the devotion to give the best for this club, and this is also big for us, because we want to be part of this club and we also want to live with this passion, this devotion, because we want to give everything we have to bring this club to the next level, I don't know but we will do our best," he said.
The German coached his last training session of the week on Saturday, as the team has rest on Sunday. All available players took part in the session and Pablo Torre, who recently underwent surgery on a fractured fifth metacarpal bone in his left hand and has started individual work on the pitch, could be seen at the 'Cules' training complex.
From Monday, Barcelona will begin the third week of training, which will end on Sunday with a trip to the United States to begin the pre-season tour in which they will play three friendlies: Manchester City, Real Madrid and Milan.
