Argentina beat the Netherlands in a penalty shootout. It was a rough game and there was controversy. There was also fighting after the game.
Leo Messi called Wout Weghorst "stupid" in the interview area when the Dutchman passed him while Messi was being interviewed.
"I've gone to shake his hand after the game. He didn't accept it and he's said something rude to me," Weghorst told 'Gol' after the incident.
"Well, I take it as a nice compliment that he now knows my name. It means I've done something right. I fought against Messi and there were some moments between us. I think we surprised them. But I have a lot of respect for him. He is the best, or one of the best players in history," the Dutchman concluded.
