It looks like Antony's return to action could come sooner than expected.
Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag spoke at a press conference about the possibility of the Selecao international returning to the pitch for the Champions League match against Galatasaray: "Yesterday was his first day back in team training, final training and then we make the decision. So he is under consideration," said the Dutch coach.
The Brazilian, who agreed with Manchester United not to return from Brazil in order to address allegations of sexual abuse, finally returned to training with the Red Devils last week.
The former Ajax player was left out of the squad for the Premier League match against Crystal Palace, which deepened the Mancunian club's crisis after the Eagles claimed a 1-0 win.
The 23-year-old winger last played for Ten Hag's side before the international break, in the Old Trafford outfit's 3-1 defeat to Arsenal on 3rd September.
