After two consecutive defeats (one in the Europa League and the other in La Liga), Barca have already set their sights in the Copa del Rey ahead of the first clash against Real Madrid in the semi-finals, which will be played on Thursday at the Santiago Bernabeu.
Just before Xavi Hernandez began his pre-match press conference, the 'Cules' announced their squad-list for the 'Clasico'. The big news was the addition of Ansu Fati, who trained with the squad on Wednesday.
The striker, who suffered a knee contusion a few days ago, looked like he was not going to be able to make it to the game and finally he will. It remains to be seen whether his coach will give him the chance to start or if he will come on as a substitute.
Robert Lewandowski is also absent with an overloaded biceps femoris in his left thigh. The Pole will be out for 10-15 days and it is not excluded that it could be more, as Barca do not want to take any risks.
The striker's absence joins those of Pedri and Ousmane Dembele, who are still working to return from injury soon. On the other hand, Estanis, from Barca Atletic, has been included in the squad.
