After Chelsea recalled David Datro Fofana on Thursday from his loan spell at Union Berlin, the striker now knows his new destination until the end of the season.
The Ivorian attacker will join Burnley on loan until June, after the Clarets reached an agreement with the Blues for the player's loan move without option to buy, according to Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano.
In addition, Vincent Kompany's side will cover 100% of the wages of the promising striker, who will undergo a medical on Saturday, after his side play Luton Town on Friday.
In doing so, Datro Fofana will attempt to bolster one of the worst attacks in the Premier League, as Burnley have scored the second fewest goals so far this season (20) behind only Sheffield United (15).
