Shortly ahead of playing the FA Cup final against local rivals Man City, Man United's Casemiro gave an interview with 'TNTSport' in Brazil and spoke about the situation of fellow Brazilian and former Madrid teammate, Vinicius.
The Madrid striker was the victim of racist insults on the pitch when they played against Valencia at the Mestalla and the international football community rose up in support. The midfielder spoke about this situation and said he wouldn't be suprised if Vinicius decided to leave the club.
"It's frustrating there are still people like this. It's not the first time Vinicius has complained, he's raised the issue a lot. I think La Liga needs to take steps because they can't lose a player like that", Casemiro explained.
He added: "I'm happy he's at Madrid, but I wouldn't be surprised if he wanted to leave, if he wanted to dedicate himself to other things". The midfielder's warning was clear about one of the most talented strikers on the world stage.
