De Zerbi, no offers and open to stay in the Premier League
Roberto de Zerbi, in his farewell to Brighton & Hove Albion fans and in his last press conference as manager of the team, said that he has no offers from any project, at least for the moment, for next season. He acknowledged that he would be happy to work in the Premier League again, although he did not specify whether he meant that he envisaged a move to the 24-25 season.

Roberto de Zerbi's two-season spell at Brighton has come to an end, but there is no clarity over his immediate future. He had a contract until 2026 and announced that he would not continue in charge of a team he qualified for European competitions with an attractive style of play that won the hearts of even Pep Guardiola. His farewell came on Sunday, in a match against Manchester United that closed the season for the Seagulls.
With his statements to the fans on the pitch and his words in the press conference, the fans got to know a little better how the tactician is facing these weeks. He still has no offers from another project or, at least, that is what he said when asked by the British journalists, and he would have no objection to spend around half a year at home, studying schemes, teams and other coaches.
"I don't know... Of course, if I have to stay at home for three, four, five months, there would be no problem from my side. This is because I will work, I will study different games, teams and coaches. You have to build knowledge to stay in the top flight. There is no club behind me. Nobody has offered me any job at the moment. I hope to work in the Premier League again, what I don't know is where or when," he said.
De Zerbi's CV includes Brighton & Hove Albion, Shakhtar Donetsk, Sassuolo, Benevento and Palermo, but it is his time in the Premier League that has brought him the most recognition. His brief stint in the Ukrainian league, in fact, did not help him gain traction at international level, so it is quite likely that he will now opt for patience in order not to make any rash decisions.
